Movatic is excited to announce that we have acquired Spring!
Spring's scootershare and bikeshare system is a natural extension of Movatic's vision to increase and improve the sustainability of micro-mobility. Micro-mobility will be an essential resource to the world during and after COVID-19 and Movatic is well-positioned to meet the unique needs of riders in a safe and dependable manner. "In the spring of 2018, I took my first ride on an electric scooter. I quickly saw how they could change cities for the better by providing a fun, cheap, and convenient way of getting around. I had recently left my previous job and I wanted to work in the industry. With a background in software engineering, I interviewed at Bird and Lime and contracted for Skip. I had job offers on the table, but I didn’t end up joining any of the companies," said Victor Pontis, CEO of Spring.
